Dr. Oz's Green Drink
I just have to say that you have to be pretty used to green smoothies in order to get this down. However, after drinking a glass tonight, I would say it is an almost immediate headache killer, and I feel infused with micronutrients. Warning: This is powerful stuff.
2 cups spinach
2 cored apples (leave the skins on)
1 medium cucumber (chopped)
3 ribs of celery chopped
1/2 inch ginger root, chopped and peeled
1 bunch of parsley
juice of 1 lime or 5-6 drops of lime oil and add water
juice of 1/2 lemon or 3-4 drops of lemon oil and add water

Candyland Peppermint Bark
Candyland Peppermint Bark
(gluten-free)
- 1/2 cup coconut butter or Homemade Coconut Butter
- 1 drop pure doTerra Peppermint Essential Oil
- 1 and 1/2 T agave (or to taste), or stevia drops to taste (I actually like it unsweetened, so you can try that too!)
- optional: sprinkles, crushed candy canes, other garnishes
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. (Make sure to melt your coconut butter first if it’s hard. I like to stick the jar in a warm—not hot—oven for just a few minutes.) Spread the mixture onto wax paper, then put it in the fridge or freezer to harden. After just a few minutes in the freezer, it’s become delicious bark!
Chocolate version: Replace coconut with Hot Chocolate Butter.

Kick the Common Cold
One of the greatest benefits of essential oils is the many ways to quickly kick the common cold. Here’s a surefire way to stop that cold when you start to feel it coming on.
Add the following to an empty gel capsule (you can get them from a health food store):
- 1 drop of Frankincense
- 2 drops of Oregano
- 3 drops of On Guard
- 4 drops of Peppermint
Take one capsule every four hours until your cold is gone. You’ll be surprised at how quickly you recover.
